Compliance
The compliance function has the overall responsibility to monitor and, on a regular basis, evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the measures, internal rules and procedures put in place to detect the risk of failure by the company and/or particular fund to comply with its obligations under the legislative framework and the actions taken to address any deficiencies in the business and/or particular fund’s compliance obligations.

Asset Management
The asset management function (portfolio management) is responsible for the investment process and for making all investment decisions on behalf of a fund.

Accounting
The accounting function is responsible for reporting Tax, VAT, administration of the business and/or a fund’s accounting to the Financial Supervisory Authority. The accounting function oversees administration and control transactions and net asset valuations.

AML
The anti-money laundering (“AML”) function is responsible for receiving and filing reports regarding suspicious activities. The AML function works to ensure that all internal suspicious activity reports are investigated without delay, and communicated to the proper authority.

Fund Administration
The fund administration function is responsible for reporting to and managing contact with the depositary for each fund. The function is also responsible for contact with the fund’s investors and other various stakeholders.
