Alternative investment funds need an operating model that fits their assets, investors and investment horizon. AIFM Capital brings the management-company framework together with the governance, risk, compliance and administration needed throughout the fund’s life.

A launch is the beginning.

Valuation, investor reporting, financial statements and applicable regulatory reporting continue for the life of the fund. The scope, service calendar and information required from your team are documented before the operation begins.

From structure to a working fund

  1. Start with the strategy.

Legal form, fund documentation, investor eligibility and service providers need to work together. We organise the launch sequence and define responsibilities, including any investment-management delegation, around the individual fund.

  2. Follow every stage of the fund.

Commitments, capital calls, subsequent closes and distributions create different administration needs. Investor records, accounting and reporting follow the fund’s governing documents and the agreed operating model.

  3. See the companies beneath it.

Private-market structures often include holding companies and investment vehicles. Fund accounting and vehicle accounts belong in the same operating picture, with statutory accounts and audit support included where agreed.
